Four friends navigate life, love and careers in 'Harlem'

NEW YORK — The new series “Harlem” highlights the New York City neighborhood as four 30-something women navigate their careers and relationships.

Creator Tracy Oliver, who also wrote the film “Girl’s Trip,” said she wanted to write about the time she spent in the city.

“I’ve always loved the city of Harlem,” said Oliver. “And I felt like it didn’t get enough love and other shows that are set in New York like you see a lot of different parts of Manhattan, but not Harlem.”
