Final curtain falls on Broadway's 'The Phantom of the Opera'

After 35 years and nearly 14,000 performances, the final curtain fell on Broadway’s “The Phantom of the Opera” on Sunday. 

The show closed with much fanfare, including appearances from the original Broadway cast, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and producer Cameron Mackintosh. 

“On Stage” host Frank DiLella attended the final performance – and the parties held in celebration afterward – and joined “Mornings On 1” Monday to recap the events, the iconic show and when audiences might be able to see it again.
