State Department to Provide More Information on Actions Against Saudi Arabia as U.S. Reviews Ties

President Joe Biden said Saturday that his administration would make an announcement about relations with Saudi Arabia Monday. The White House later clarified that the State Department will provide details on actions already announced Friday. Intelligence officials issued a report Friday implicating Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the 2018 brutal killing of U.S. resident and journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The State Department will provide additional information Monday on actions it is taking against Saudi Arabia after a U.S. intelligence report held the crown prince responsible for the brutal 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, a White House official told NBC News.
