“The Rocky Horror Show”

At Studio 54, a new revival of the cult favorite “The Rocky Horror Show” is now in previews.

Newcomer Luke Evans takes on the iconic role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, stepping into some very high heels in this sci-fi musical classic. Opening night is set for April 23.

“Becky Shaw”

Over at the Hayes Theatre, don’t miss the dark comedy “Becky Shaw.”

The play’s cast includes Linda Emond, Patrick Ball, Lauren Patten, Alden Ehrenreich and Madeline Brewer, and centers on a dysfunctional family navigating love, relationships and one very complicated blind date. It officially opens April 6.

On the Off-Broadway front at Stage 42, check out “Gotta Dance!”

This high-energy revue celebrates some of musical theater’s most iconic numbers, featuring songs from “West Side Story,” “Pippin” and “A Chorus Line.”

“The Last 5 Years”

And at Radio City Music Hall, don’t miss the 25th anniversary presentation of Jason Robert Brown’s “The Last 5 Years.”

Tony, Grammy and Emmy winner Ben Platt stars opposite Golden Globe winner Rachel Zegler in this two-person musical, which explores a five-year relationship between a rising author and a struggling actress. The limited run takes place Monday and Tuesday.

“Catch a Wave”

Finally, looking ahead to April 11 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, original “Jersey Boys” cast member Michael Longoria takes the stage in “Catch a Wave.”
