Five-time GRAMMY Award–winning rap icon Lil Wayne will return to New York in 2026 with two major performances celebrating more than 20 years of his landmark Tha Carter album series.
The expanded tour includes a summer stop at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs on July 2, followed by a late-season appearance at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on September 10. Both dates will feature support from fellow GRAMMY Award–winning rapper 2 Chainz.
The tour extension continues a multi-year celebration of Tha Carter series, a collection of albums that has defined eras of hip-hop since its debut in 2004. From the breakout success of Tha Carter III to the chart dominance of later releases, the series has produced some of the most recognizable tracks of the 21st century and solidified Lil Wayne’s place among the genre’s most influential artists.
Fans attending the Saratoga Springs date can expect a full amphitheater experience at SPAC, long regarded as one of the premier summer concert venues in upstate New York. The Jones Beach show, set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, offers a distinctly different atmosphere, bringing the tour to one of Long Island’s most iconic outdoor stages.
Together, the two New York performances highlight the statewide reach of the tour, giving fans both upstate and downstate the opportunity to experience a setlist likely to span Wayne’s extensive catalog—from early mixtape favorites to hits from Tha Carter VI, released in 2025.
With a career now entering its third decade, Lil Wayne continues to prove his staying power, and these two New York dates serve as a reminder of the lasting influence of Tha Carter era — and its continued resonance with fans old and new.
