Frank DiLella’s theater picks: ‘Trash,’ ‘Violet’ and more

With the many entertainment choices New York City has to offer, it can be difficult to make a choice. Look no further. “On Stage” host Frank DiLella has curated a list of “must-see” shows this week, directing you to the best of Broadway, off-Broadway and beyond.

“Trash”

Down at PAC NYC, don’t miss “Trash,” co-written by and starring James Caverly and Andrew Morrill. The new production explores a simple premise — a household chore between deaf roommates trying to figure out who’s responsible for taking out the trash. The show experiments with accessibility, incorporating creative storytelling elements that both deaf and hearing audiences can experience.
