Evan Peters is getting into position for Ariana Grande to join “American Horror Story.“
Following the Halloween 2025 announcement that the “Wicked: For Good” actress will star alongside the Emmy winner in season 13 of the anthology series, he detailed the benefit of having Grande join the Ryan Murphy show.
“What doesn’t she bring to the cast?” Peters, who with Grande in her “we can’t be friends” music video, told E! News’ Will Marfuggi in an exclusive interview. “She’s an incredible performer and actress, and I think that’s gonna be awesome to have her on board.”
And the “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” actor is looking forward to what the future has in store with Grande — who previously starred in Murphy’s 2015 show “Scream Queens” — and the rest of the cast, including AHS alums Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and Emma Roberts. He’s particularly eager to see how Murphy utilizes all of Grande’s different talents for the small screen.

“I’m excited to see what’s gonna be in the season,” he continued. “I haven’t read anything yet, so I’m curious what it’s gonna be, what’s it gonna have her doing. It’s exciting.”
In the meantime, Peters has teamed up with Murphy for another must-watch show, explaining why he enjoyed working with the TV mastermind on “The Beauty,” starring Ashton Kutcher and Rebecca Hall and premiering Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET on Hulu and FX.
“He’s just an incredible collaborator,” Peters shared of Murphy. “As strong as his vision is, he’s willing to take ideas in and try them, and you definitely get to have some say.”
Indeed, he inadvertently referenced the new show while detailed their working relationship, adding, “That’s the beauty of it.”
As for what drew Peters to star in “The Beauty,” which he described as an “international sci-fi satirical body horror action thriller”?
“These really long action sequences,” he said, “and playing the FBI agent and trying to take down the evil corporation was all very intriguing, for sure.”
While “The Beauty” premieres on Hulu and FX on Jan. 21, season 13 of American Horror Story doesn’t arrive until Halloween 2026.
