On January 12, the couple was photographed heading to dinner at Beverly Hills restaurant Funke, marking the first time Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been spotted together following the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff elimination a month earlier.
According to the photos obtained by TMZ, Tay put on a leggy display in an oversized gray blazer and white mini skirt, while Travis rocked a funky bowling shirt. Soooo chic, as per usual.
In case you missed it: The Chiefs were knocked out of the playoffs on December 14 when they lost to the Los Angeles Chargers, but it’s still unclear whether Travis plans on making his 13th season with the Chiefs his last. After his team’s final game of the season, he admitted that he would be “a regular human for a couple weeks” and “figure out what I’m gonna do next in terms of my future in football” on the January 7 episode of New Heights.
Meanwhile, an Us Weekly source revealed that—if Travis does, indeed, decide to retire—he might have a future with Netflix as “their exclusive broadcast sports correspondent” on January 8. The deal is allegedly “still being finalized, but discussions are well underway.”
Before their January 12 outing, Tay and Trav hadn’t been papped together since Travis’ bye week, when they had back-to-back date nights in New York City. The two were first spotted heading to The Polo Bar on November 5, and the following night, they enjoyed dinner at one of Blondie’s fave restaurants, Zero Bond.
Taylor also made appearances at several of Travis’ home games throughout the season, including his ill-fated game against the Chargers on December 14, as well as his last game of the season, which fell on Christmas Day.
