Instead of staying in and enjoying one too many plates of Christmas food with family around the fire (guilty LOL), Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce spent the day with 76,000 people and a televised audience—fun!
The couple attended Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day. The “Fate of Ophelia” singer, naturally, came dressed in a festive outfit that featured a bright red bomber jacket worn over chic black pieces and cheered her man on alongside her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, from their fancy private suite.
Sadly, the game wrapped up with the Chiefs losing to the Broncos 20-13, putting an end to their football season this year—but that doesn’t mean that Taylor and Travis didn’t have a good time together this Christmas.
Us Weekly reported on December 17 that Swift has been soaking up her first Christmas as a fiancée. “This is her favorite time of year with the holidays and her birthday, and she has been intentionally slowing down,” the insider said. She’s apparently been “cooking, spending time with family, and carving out space to enjoy being engaged.”
Back in October, a separate source told Us Weekly that Taylor and Travis’ holiday plans would be “very low-key, family-centric and [won’t involve any] major travel.”
“Travis fits right in with her family, and Taylor adores [his mom] Donna. They talk all the time,” the insider added. “They make sure to see both sides as often as they can. They are super family-oriented, and they have always loved that about one another.”
