Hayley Williams of Paramore has announced a long-anticipated tour, with scheduled stops at major American cities as well as a handful of European cities, including two nights in New York.
The tour, spanning from March 28 to June 29, has two consecutive dates in New York City, with the Hammerstein Ballroom hosting Hayley Williams on April 9 and 10, with opener Water From Your Eyes.
Williams, who recently released Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, has never toured in support of solo work. Although having released two prior solo albums, her 2020 tour was cancelled due to the pandemic, and never rescheduled. Sponsored by her hair dye company Good Dye Young, this tour serves as a chance to finally play her solo music live.
In a statement put out alongside the tour announcement, Williams expresses her dedication to getting tickets into the hands of real fans, instead of bots and resellers. She also prioritizes keeping prices as low as possible. To do this, she is steering clear of ticket monopolies. Instead, she’s partnering with the company Openstage in order to verify fans when registering for presale. The platform uses both email and phone number verification, hoping to virtually eliminate the threat of ticket bots.

In a further effort to dissuade resellers, ticket transfers have been disabled for all possible dates. Unfortunately, New York is one of the few states that does not allow disabling of ticket transfers.
Presale registration is only available through William’s website for 24 hours. Presale codes will be sent out this Thursday, with the presale opening the following day, Friday November 14.
