“Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)”
The new two-hander “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)” has made its way across the pond — and is actually now playing in New York. In this original musical, viewers meet Dougal and Robin and watch as their worlds collide. “Two Strangers” is now in previews, with opening night set for Nov. 20.
“Heaux Church”
Over at Ars Nova in Midtown, it’s amen for “Heaux Church.” Written and performed by Brandon Kyle Goodman, “Heaux Church” presents a “coming of age” service all about the birds and bees and more.

“The Lucky Ones”
In Midtown, playwright Lia Romeo delivers an emotionally sharp new play, “The Lucky Ones,” which is now playing at Theaterlab. The show dives deep into the complexities of female friendship. The show runs through Nov. 9.

“The Wasp”
Heading now to the Financial District, “The Wasp” is a captivating 90-minute psychological thriller starring Amy Forsyth and Colby Minifie of the Amazon series “The Boys.” What begins as a friendly reunion between two long-lost middle school friends, unfolds into a dangerous and intense encounter.

“Moonstruck”
And finally, on Monday at Broadway’s Music Box Theatre, don’t miss the one night only all-star presentation of “Moonstruck.” Based on the 1987 film that starred Cher, the reading will feature Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Patti LuPone, Nina Arianda and more. The performance is a benefit for New York Stage and Film.
