Guy was raised by a foster family after his mother presumably died. A decade and some change later, he’s fresh out of law school and looking for a job. Instead, he gets recruited by the Talamasca to investigate a situation within the covert organization. Why? Guy has the ability to read minds, and the Talamasca has been watching him for his entire life. He’s equal parts awestruck and skeptic, which makes for a perfect protagonist in a world like this.

Denton was last seen leading the Starz series Dangerous Liasons, based on the novel first published in 18th century France, alongside Alice Englert and Mia Threapleton. Before that, the Australian actor worked Down Under in the Melbourne theatre scene and on television shows including Glitch and Utopia.

Helen is the Talamasca agent based in New York City who recruits Guy after one of her agents gets killed in London. She has a mysterious past of her own, and knows more about Guy and his mother than she’s letting on…

You surely know McGovern from Downton Abbey. From 2010-2025 she played Cora Crawley, countess of Grantham, an American heiress and mother to three girls coming-of-age in the 20th century. She was nominated many times over for Emmy and SAG awards. Her first ever film role was in Robert Redford’s Ordinary People, which went on to win four Academy Awards including Best Picture. The very next year, she was nominated for an Academy Award herself for the film Ragtime. She also played Moira in the 1990 adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale.

The vampire Jasper has taken over the London office–called a “Motherhouse” in the Rice canon–of the Talamasca. His motives are a mystery at the beginning of the season.

Fichtner’s career spans from 79 episodes of the soap opera As The World Turns to major 90s movies Heat, Strange Days, Armageddon, and Contact. His television credits include the multi-cam sitcom Mom, the crime drama Prison Break, and the canceled too soon ABC series The Company You Keep. You also might recognize his voice from video game franchises like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty. He’s got range!

Guy meets Doris in London at a gathering for a witch coven in light of a tragic event. She doesn’t want to let him in and definitely has some secrets of her own. She also lives on a houseboat… fun!

In 2011, Buckens played a little French girl named Emilie in Steven Spielberg’s film adaption of the play War Horse. Since then, she has had main roles in a slew on television shows including Free Reign, Showtrial, and The Ex-Wife.

Olive is a chic Talamasca agent who’s really good at the whole spy thing… if only everyone around her wasn’t so shady.

Richardson-Sellers is best known for The Originals, where she played Eva Sinclair, and The Kissing Booth movies. She was on the second season of Nine Perfect Strangers. If you like nerdy things, you’ve probably seen her in something. She was also in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (and directed two episodes) as well as Star Wars: The Force Awakens as an officer in the Resistance.

Owen is a Talamasca agent at the London Motherhouse whose loyalties appear to have shifted.

The incidents in London that Guy is covertly investigating include, like, actual murder. So it’s unsurprising that local law enforcement gets involved. Detective Ridge is on the case, unaware that she’s racing against the Talamasca to uncover the truth.

You know Hannah from Call the Midwife as Cynthia Miller, a nurse who becomes a nun. She also has a significant supporting role on the Disney+ series Rivals. Fun fact: she was in War Horse on stage!

Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy

In the AMC series’ adaptation of Rice’s books, Pulitzer prize-winning journalist Daniel Molloy conducted the titular interview in Interview with the Vampire, both in 1973 and then again in 2022. At the end of the second season, he publishes a book in-universe based on those interviews. He also gets turned into a vampire himself, fulfilling a 50+ year-old wish.

Bogosian is an Award-winning playwright and actor. Recently, you might recognize him as Gil Eavis from Succession, a Bernie-esque Senator and Shiv’s former employer before she flip-flopped for the fam. He was a series regular on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Billions. Bogosian’s film credits include adaptations of his plays Talk Radio and Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll, as well as the Safdie Brothers’ breakout hit Uncut Gems.

Fans of Interview with the Vampire will remember that Raglan James is an eccentric who meets Daniel Molloy in Dubai and helps get him information to write his book and expose his subjects’ lies. He’s a major player in Rice’s books, so keep an eye on this one.

If you don’t already know him from IWTV, you may have seen Kirk on the Showtime series Weeds as Andy Botwin, or leading the HBO miniseries adaptation of the play Angels in America as Prior Walter. Speaking of HBO, he also appeared on the final two seasons of Succession as a conservative politician named Jeryd Mencken and the Perry Mason reboot as a lawyer named Hamilton Burger–seriously!

Burton is an eccentric vampire who Guy meets in the first episode. He lives in New York City, in the penthouse of The Dakota–whose famous residents IRL have famously included John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Judi Garland, Rosie O’Donnell, and Leonard Bernstein.

You know Schwartzman best for his collaborations with Wes Anderson in Rushmore, The Darjeeling Limited, Moonrise Kingdom and more.
