Kyle Waves takes inspiration from the works of both eastern and western artists such as Lexi Liu and Troye Sivan. Waves has also dabbled in many genres surrounding his pop-synth sound, including RnB and House, as well as years of K-Pop training.

Having multiple features on spotify editorial and indie curated playlists, Kyle has been building a loyal fanbase of listeners, and is expected to continue to expand his ever growing audience. Waves’ music has also been presented on the OutLoud Radio show, played on Singaporean radio, and has been shown in the press by Queerty, Earmilk, EQ Music, and Ones To Watch.

The EP opens with two previously released tracks “I Feel Too Much For You” and “Thinking Bout It”“I Feel Too Much For You” is an upbeat pop banger about having feelings for someone you shouldn’t. “Thinking Bout It” is a blend of an uneasy melody and syncopation, to re-create the feeling of starting to fall for someone.

The third track “Make It Right” explores themes of jealousy and wanting, and maintains a catchy flow throughout.  “Broken Soul”, the fifth track, has a dream-like melody and questions the deeper and complex feelings of heartbreak. The EP ends with “In My Heart”, which expresses the feeling of wanting someone to give clear signals.

“This EP to me is like a journey through space where the listener searches for the right sound to follow, the signal that feels best for them.”
