The Rockettes celebrate their 100th anniversary this year with the return of the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. This event will be running from November 6, 2025 through January 4, 2026.
Inside This Year’s Show
The Radio City Rockettes are a legendary precision dance company known for their high-kicking chorus line and synchronized choreography. They’ve been a staple of American entertainment for a century. They’re most famously known for starring in the annual Christmas Spectacular, which blends dance, music, and visual effects into a holiday stage.
This year’s production includes nine musical numbers. The Rockettes’ signature precision dance routines will be paired with large-scale digital projections and holographic effects. Fans can expect classics like “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers”, a routine performed since the show’s debut in 1933. Alongside will be newer scenes like a Santa Claus segment featuring holographic animation, first introduced in last year.
To mark the centennial, the 2025 Spectacular includes tributes to Rockettes history. This features a new video performance of the song, “That’s Entertainment!” filmed on the Radio City stage. Exclusive 100th-anniversary merchandise will also be available throughout the venue.

Founded in St. Louis in 1925, the Rockettes have been based at Radio City Music Hall since 1932. The Christmas Spectacular began a year later and has since brought over 72 million people to Midtown Manhattan. Outside of the show, the Rockettes have performed at presidential inaugurations, the Super Bowl, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The dancers also run training programs aimed at expanding access in the dance world. Programs like Rockettes Conservatory and Rockettes Preparatory have partnered with The Ailey School and Dance Theatre of Harlem, reaching over 500 dancers in the past five years.
