Vegan fashion might be popular today, but it wasn’t always that way.
New York fashion designer Marc Bouwer remembers a time long before big name fashion houses banned fur.
“Animals are my passion and I have been at the forefront of fighting for cruelty-free fashion since the 1980s,” said Bouwer, after walking a runway for New York Fashion Week.
He wore a glitzy silver outfit alongside a model and a dog on a leash (who was also wearing silver) at Sony Hall as part of Elysian Impact’s Inaugural CatWalk FurBaby runway show, which raised funds for the Bissell Pet Foundation.
