The Italian city of Venice has said it has delayed plans for its entry fee system for visitors, again.
The paid ticketing scheme was due to come into force on January 16, 2023, and has been touted as the first of its kind in the world.
However, local authorities have had to halt the introduction of the booking system as they grapple with logistics.
As such, day trippers to Venice won’t have to pay to enter the city just yet.
