Andy had just completed the eight-hour flight from New York to Warsaw and was waiting for his connecting flight into Ukraine when he noticed the man sitting across from him. He was in his mid to late 20s, wearing an old ACU (Army Combat Uniform)–style shirt and pants and a brown plate carrier (a type of bulletproof vest) with a large American flag patch on the front.
