Rockrose Development has landed $240 million in financing from Wells Fargo for the massive residential project it is building in Fort Greene, property records show.
Rockrose purchased the Brooklyn site at 180 Ashland Place in April 2020 for $62 million, according to city records. It filed plans with the Department of Buildings soon after for a residential building spanning about 450,000 square feet with 569 units. The project will stand 49 stories and 610 feet tall with a 108-car parking garage, according to the filing. It will also include retail on the ground floor, and 30% of the units will be affordable for households earning between 80% and 130%
