As chief executive of the Bowery Residents’ Committee, the nonprofit featured in the Crain’s op-ed “Transitional housing for the homeless comes with costs,” I feel it is my responsibility to complete the picture that the author, Mario Messina, neglected to share. It is unfortunate that Mr. Messina failed to note that on March 25, he and members of his group joined me to tour a similar—only larger—program we operate on East 47th Street.
