Mayor Eric Adams said Gov. Kathy Hochul’s planned fixes to New York’s controversial bail reform law and other criminal justice policies don’t go far enough — declaring Friday ahead of his 100th day in office that “there’s more to be done” to clean up soaring crime in the Big Apple.
“Although I commend them on steps they took towards dealing with public safety — something that people said was impossible for us to get done — but clearly, there’s more to be done,” Hizzoner said on Fox 5’s “Good Day New York” when asked if the proposed changes to bail reform are strong enough.
