The best cities for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration are in the Northeast, a report by a personal-finance website says.
Philadelphia ranks as the best city, followed by Boston and Pittsburgh, according to WalletHub, which used 18 metrics to compare 200 large U.S. cities. The metrics included the number of Irish pubs and restaurants per capita, hotel prices on St. Patrick’s Day, crime rate and weather.
Four other northeastern cities rank in the Top 12: New York; Yonkers, New York; Buffalo, and Worcester, Massachusetts.
