Bill Carter, the chief executive officer of ALM, a legal media firm, is putting the finishing touches on LegalWeek, a one-week event that will start Tuesday, when thousands of industry professionals will come to New York to network and learn.
LegalWeek will launch close on the heels of the business-to-business fashion market, Coterie, which ended Tuesday at the Javits Center. Emily Shalant said her fashion line Emily Shalant did fairly well in picking up sales at high-quality stores, even though the aisles of the show were surprisingly quiet.
