Columbia Business School is settling into its new location at the university’s Manhattanville outpost and is turning its sights to its impact on the city around it.
The space nearly doubles the square footage of the old location: 500,000 square feet across Kravis and Geffen halls.
In addition to optimizing the experience of enrolled students, the new setup allows the school to assist more small businesses in New York City by increasing mentorship and incubation programs developed nine blocks south in Morningside Heights, according to its dean, Costis Maglaras.
