Over the frozen ice of the Bay of Green Bay, Captain JJ Malvitz is speeding a group of first-time ice fishers in a Polaris Ranger towards a red ice house — a heated 8’ x12’ cabin with no floors and holes drilled through the ice. Over pretzel buns and brats people will try their hand at catching whitefish. Outside other-colored cabins are being whisked by vehicles to favorite lucky spots.
