A new crop of hospitality, technology and consumer businesses will have a continued source of growth capital in Enlightened Hospitality Investments, the investment manager affiliated with Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, which has raised a second fund.
Enlightened has raised $332 million in capital commitments and plans to use the money to make investments of $10 million to $30 million in companies that are growing quickly and leading their categories, with a focus on what it calls “fine casual” restaurants and tech firms that are working on hospitality solutions.
