A 19-year-old man was shot dead in Queens late Thursday by a gunman who believed he was a member of the Bloods gang, cops said.
Cristobal Alfredo Ixquier Mejia, 19, was hanging outside 147th Place and Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica, possibly drinking, just before 10 p.m. when two people approached, police said.
Ixquier Mejia was wearing a red jacket, prompting the duo to ask him if he was a Blood, cops said.
Then one of the men opened fire, striking him in the chest, cops said.
Ixquier Mejia, who lived about a half-mile from the scene, was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced
