Adams’ trio of transportation chiefs draws criticism

Three officials who hold years of experience in city government but have played roles in far-reaching controversies have been selected to lead the incoming transportation administration of Mayor-elect Eric Adams.

Adams chose City Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez of Upper Manhattan as the next Department of Transportation commissioner. The mayor-elect also tapped the present and former leaders of the beleaguered Taxi and Limousine Commission for important roles.
