In Honor Of The Tokyo Olympics, Omega Installs Pool Art In Miami

The Tokyo Olympics has been in full swing, with many milestone firsts including weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz bringing the Philippines its first Olympic gold after 97 years, and gymnast Sunisa Lee being the first Hmong American to win an Olympic gold.

Omega, the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, brings this spirit to Miami, transforming the open space of the Design District’s Jungle Plaza into a replica of the pool— complete with starting blocks and lane markers— as a special venue to celebrate the games. But don’t dive in though— it’s Flash-mob style performers as swimmers, golfers and runners will be popping up on weekends, until August 8.
