Travel has been an ordeal since the arrival of COVID-19. But with marijuana products used by increasing numbers of Americans, could cannabis, in both its active and medicinal (CBD) forms, help revive the travel industry?
The numbers are surprisingly high (sorry.) A 2020 report found that 29 percent of all active leisure travelers (and 18 percent of all Americans) want to do cannabis-related activities on vacation. This interest in cannabis tourism is not theoretical; 25% of respondents traveled to a destination for a cannabis experience, including 44% of Millennials and members of Generation Z.
