A 38-year-old pedestrian was fighting for her life after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run in Queens, police said.
The incident occurred at 5:50 a.m. when the woman was mowed down by a black sedan at Queens Boulevard and Hillside Avenue, police said. The driver fled the scene.
The unidentified woman was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition, according to an NYPD spokesman, who did not have additional details.
The NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad is probing the crash.
