Vornado Realty Trust’s major plans going forward are not just limited to the area around Penn Station.
The real estate giant has filed plans with the Department of Buildings for a roughly 824,000-square-foot residential project at 61-10 Junction Blvd. in Rego Park, Queens. The project would contain 573 residential units and stand 32 stories and 330 feet tall. It would include commercial and community space as well, along with 686 parking spots.
SLCE Architects is the architect of record on the project, and its total estimated cost is $288 million, according to the filing.
Vornado did not respond to a request for comment.
