Vornado goes after infamous Archegos hedge fund for $160K in missing rent

An infamous hedge fund that recently collapsed in spectacular fashion is now facing a missing rent lawsuit from Vornado Realty Trust.

The real estate investment firm has sued Archegos Capital Management for approximately $160,000 worth of unpaid rent in its building at 888 Seventh Ave., according to a lawsuit filed Monday in Manhattan state supreme court. Archegos had leased space on the 22nd floor of the property starting at the end of September 2019 and owes Vornado $159,165.55 through July 19, court papers claim. The lawsuit does not specify when Archegos allegedly stopped paying its rent.
