A New York City marathon runner who apparently collapsed with just 200 meters left was helped across the finish line by strangers, heartwarming video captured at Sunday’s race.
When a man in a black tank top appeared to stumble under his own weight after nearly completing the grueling 26.2-mile race, two men each grabbed an arm of the struggling runner and lifted him up as they walked their way towards the finish line together while other runners sped by, video shows.
Another man can be seen walking behind the man making sure he doesn’t fall back.
The crowd in Central Park roars with cheers at witnessing the moment.
