MoviePass co-founder gets into the game of paid ad views

The co-founder of MoviePass—the app that gave users a movie ticket each day for a monthly fee before it went bankrupt—is nearing the launch of his second act, this time focused on video games

PreShow Interactive, which will provide users with virtual currency in exchange for watching ads, will launch by late July, its founder, Stacy Spikes, told CrainMonday. The company raised a $3 million funding round late last month, led by Harlem Capital.
