A $450 Supreme t-shirt. A $900 designer flannel. $1,300 Gucci sneakers.
This is the world of Grailed, a SoHo-based online marketplace where visitors can buy and sell vintage and designer men’s fashion. The company Thursday finalized a $60 million venture capital investment to expand its offerings for a user base it says has climbed to more than 7 million.
Helped along by Instagram, Grailed CEO Arun Gupta said younger generations are more attuned to fashion than ever as a means of expression and are seeking those items online.
