A 26-year-old man was stabbed early Saturday during an argument in Greenwich Village, police said.
The violence unfolded at about 4 a.m. when the victim and the wiry suspect — a 6-foot-3, 150-pound man — were squabbling outside a convenience store on West 3rd Street and 6th Avenue, police said.
The suspect ran off, but the victim followed him into the West 4th subway station, cops said. The argument escalated in the station, and the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed his rival in the right side of his abdomen, cops said.
The nature of their argument was not immediately known.
