Louisiana governor: Levees should hold against Hurricane Ida

With Hurricane Ida expected to make landfall Sunday, Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards says his state’s $14 billion levy system should hold against the storm.

“All of our modeling shows that [the levees should hold]. We feel very good about what is inside the hurricane risk reduction system,” Edwards told CBS’ Ed O’Keefe on “Face the Nation.“
