Kyndryl, an IBM spin-off company, has chosen SL Green’s One Vanderbilt as the home for its global headquarters.
The company, which is expected to be created once IBM’s Managed Infrastructure Services business splits from the rest of the firm by the end of this year, took more than 22,500 square feet at the newly minted building in a nine-year deal.
That brings the 1.7 million-square-foot property’s total leased occupancy up to 81%. It is on track to be 90% leased by the end of the year, according to SL Green, which is also the city’s largest owner of office space.
