Jumaane Williams says he’d ‘shake’ up Albany ‘atmosphere’ with run for governor

Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, who is considering a run for governor, declared Wednesday that he’d be a challenger who would “shake” up the “atmosphere” that for years has pervaded New York state politics.

During a series of media appearances Wednesday morning, the left-wing Big Apple politician, who has inched toward a run for governor, was broad and vague in both his criticism of the current Democratic governor and what he’d bring to the table as a contender.
