In October, a Texas intelligence center homed in on an episode of the New Yorker podcast. The episode, which aired in September, hosted Swedish environmental activist and author Andreas Malm, who has called for the sabotage of energy infrastructure.
In a bulletin shared with law enforcement officials around the country, the intelligence center detailed concerns about Malm’s rhetoric — but also said it wasn’t connected to any specific threat.
