Hochul seeking film and marijuana industry donations for re-election bid

Gov. Kathy Hochul is living the high life — hitting up film producers and the marijuana industry to help bankroll her re-election campaign, the Post has learned.

The Hochul campaign is holding a fat-cat bash on the Upper East Side on October 12, where the asking price per admission is $15,000 to $50,000.

Film producer Jana Edelbaum and her husband, Michael Abbott, co-founder and chairman of the cannabis firm Columbia Care, currently licensed to provide medicinal marijuana to New York patients, are residents at the building on East 80th Street.
