Gov. Kathy Hochul has named the final two officials who will influence the rollout of adult-use marijuana.
Reuben R. McDaniel, III and Jessica Garcia have been appointed to the board of Office of Cannabis Management which will guide the market rules as New York legalizes cannabis, Hochul’s office said Wednesday.
The five-member Cannabis Control Board is tasked with creating the office of cannabis management, which will distribute licenses and regulate what officials expect to be a billion-dollar business.
