Independent investigators found Gov. Andrew Cuomo violated state and federal laws by sexually harassing multiple women over a seven-year period.
The independent investigation concluded Cuomo harassed former and current state employees from 2013 to 2020 and that the governor engaged in unwanted kissing, groping and hugging, and fostered a “toxic workplace” at the Executive’s Chamber in Albany, according to Attorney General Letitia James.
The five-month investigation was led by attorneys Joon H. Kim and Anne L. Clark, who were appointed by Attorney General Letitia James following initial allegations at the start of the year.
