Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo faces a criminal charge less than three months after departing office.
A misdemeanor complaint against the former governor has been filed in Albany City Court, said Lucian Chalfen, a spokesman for New York state courts.
The redacted complaint includes allegations made by Amy Kowalski, a state police officer and investigator with the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, accusing Cuomo of “knowingly, and intentionally” committing an act of “forcible touching” at the Executive Mansion on Dec. 7, 2020. The victim’s name is redacted from the complaint.
