Corporate donors mostly silent as biz leaders turn on Cuomo

As Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s political future hangs in the balance, and Democrats in Albany turn their attention toward impeachment, his corporate donor base is largely staying silent on whether he should resign or be removed from office.

Some public-facing leaders in the New York City business community have suggested impeachment is an option, and others have implied the governor should resign. But most top donors are staying silent for now, declining invitations to discuss whether they still support him.
