With its white walls transformed by colorful paint, its ceiling holding up “clouds” and its entry flanked with mutant vehicles, Sotheby’s New York this weekend will host an unexpected partner—Burning Man, the festival usually held each year in the Nevada desert that has been canceled twice because of the pandemic.
Mutant vehicles, by the way, are creative motorized vehicles popular at Burning Man.
