Bronx-based employers push next mayor to boost future talent pipeline

As New York comes back from the pandemic, a group of Bronx-based employers is calling on the city to make the borough’s young people a priority in the Big Apple’s economic recovery

Fifteen employers and community groups on Tuesday urged mayoral candidates Eric Adams and Curtis Sliwa, as well as City Council speaker candidates, to put on their agenda the plan to redevelop the citywide youth talent system, which connects work-based programs to high school students.
