Broadway will mandate vaccines for audiences, performers

Hadestown, Six and David Byrne’s American Utopia are three of the shows that will play on Broadway during the fall.

To be in the audience for Broadway’s comeback, all guests will have to show proof that they have been fully vaccinated at the time that they enter the theater. Even with this proof, they will need to wear masks except when eating or drinking in certain areas. 

The performers, backstage crew and theater staff are included in the vaccination requirement.
