Adams takes hits on living arrangements as New York mayoral candidates spar in third debate

NEW YORK — Mayoral candidate Andrew Yang accused frontrunner Eric Adams of secretly living in New Jersey and contender Maya Wiley refused to commit to keeping the police armed during a CBS televised debate Thursday, 12 days before voters head to the polls.

The faceoff opened with questions about Adams’ residency, following a report in POLITICO this week detailing inconsistencies on official documents regarding the Brooklyn borough president’s permanent address and the unusual hours he keeps
