Three people were killed and five others wounded by gunfire in six separate shootings overnight in the Big Apple, including an 81-year-old man blasted in the foot on the Upper West Side, authorities said.
The elderly victim was injured and a 45-year-old man struck in the chest when gunfire erupted on West 105th Street near Manhattan Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Monday, police said.
Both victims were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside, where they are expected to survive.
It was not immediately clear whether the shooter intended to strike the older man.
